We are back with our edition of “Meet the Beys'' where we introduce the masterminds behind our day-to-day work. Our employees are the most valuable asset and the key factor behind our company's success. They are the ones who work tirelessly to provide the best services to our clients and make Databeys a unique, challenging and remarkable place to work. Our team comprises passionate people from different backgrounds with a multi range of attributes and skills.
This week, we shine the spotlight on our Software Engineer “Muhammad Aarib” to acknowledge him for his efforts and services. He joined the growing family of Databeys this year. Aarib is known for being enthusiastic, friendly and cooperative and he serves as a great assistance to his team members. We had the perk of conducting a rapid question-answer session with him to know more about his work ethics and what makes him a perfect fit for his job.
I am currently working as a Software Engineer here. My day-to-day activities include participating in the entire application lifecycle, building reusable code and libraries for future use, CRM Integration, APIs development and also assisting my colleagues in their tasks.
The thing that excites me the most is that I get a chance to learn something new and be challenged every single day whether that be a simple bug fix, to something big like working on a new project. Moreover, participating in a fast-moving industry and seeing the technology getting evolved with time never ceases to amaze me. I am always looking forward to the coffee sessions here since I am a coffee addict.
I absolutely love being part of a global industry where everyone knows that arrays start at 0.
Changing Requirements during the development process is the foremost challenge. Not just that, providing complete security to the software applications is also a major challenge as hackers are trying each moment to hack the software applications and steal the data. Sometimes misinterpreted requirements give rise to a problem as a result of which the software product fails to give the actual result to the end-users. Getting defects or errors in the product during its last stage creates an unwanted problem.
It has provided me with an excellent opportunity to kick-start my career and through working on large-scale enterprise applications, my skill set keeps getting upgraded. Most of us know about coding but what's actually encouraging is that I am getting a chance to collaborate with the team and to work on the technical implementation and architectural direction of the systems as well.
What I have learned from this experience is that there is always room for growth when you are working for an IT firm and through dedication and consistency, we can develop things that quite possibly have the potential to change the world.
Working with Databeys is so far a phenomenal experience. Normally, a day at Databeys starts with team meetings where the leader explains the weekly goals and daily routine tasks and what should be kept as a priority after which we brainstorm ideas and then start implementing all the strategies to reach our target. The team, the management and all the seniors and juniors are very friendly and cooperative. They always listen to my ideas and suggestions and provide resources to execute and implement them. The workplace environment is one of the main reasons that makes me excited to come to work each and every day.
We are easy-going yet knowledgeable team of experts who will make sure that what's important gets done skillfully.
